Hi everyone, i've been reading IFX for awile now but have only recently joined the forum. I had great fun entering the 50th issue cover competition.

I have often seen artists state in the magazine that they paint in black and white (and greys) to get the values correct for their images, which sounds like a great idea. However once that is done what is the best way to convert that greyscale image into a colour one? Any suggestions?

This question comes up relatively frequently. I did a SEARCH and found this but there are probably others.
