Heres some recent Ideas I had.

Completed in photoshop cs3 on and off over 3 nights.
This started as a quick speedpainting that I couldnt put down because my imagination was doing great.
The
only that confused me was polishing techniques. At one point this
almost looked photo realistic So I had painter-fy things up. I was
inspired by khang-le art and my 3 hour session in google earth getting
architecture reference from various European regions.
Walking merchant concept
quick little concept done in photoshop 5 hours or so.
Needed a
creature concept for my portfolio. I designed Rudy (thats what I call
him) based off of various dinosaurs and lizards. when you need to make
something original just combine unusual things like : dinosaur+
tugboat+ snack bar
Explanation: Rudy was going to travel and
wanted to have a tugboat pull him up stream on a raft. However after
miscalculating the weight he sunk the the boat and the raft. The crew
salvaged the tug boat parts and rebuilt it right onto Rudy. Now the
crew just travels the land and sells things out of the new shop.
