    PVC-a-like...

Afternoon all. Yes, I emerge from the depths to pick your brains Big Smile

Does anyone know of a decent tutorial for painting material to look like PVC (not leather - I want that really fake, shiny look)?

Who knows, I might actually post a finished painting if I can get this bit sussed out Wink

heres one of mine: PVC catsuit

the trick is to have very dstinct areas of dark, mid tone and highlights, with almost nothing in between, colour should be limited to muted reflection and the colour of the material itself.

Ill see if I can put a tutorial together, but Im real busy this week so it might not happen.

Ah, that's excellent, Steve! Thank you!

I foolishly chose a hue of blue which goes greenish when you lower the luminosity, which is messing things about a little. I'll give it a tinker and see where it gets me Big Smile
