Who's going to SDCC?

I'll be there so come and say hello! If I'm not hustling the convention floor trying to find more great artists for ImagineFX, I'll be hijacking a corner of Ron Lemen's Studio 2nd Street booth at #5361. Remember Ron's amazing anatomy masterclasses in IFX?

I'm looking forward to seeing Marshall Vandruff workshop on  Drawing from the Masters... Saturday 2pm rm30cde.

I've also got my eye on saying hello to Adam Hughes, Coro, the Udon Entertainment guys, Marvel, Ben Templesmith, Greg Broadmore and so many more...

Oh, and who's up for the zombie parade on Thursday evening? 

Waaaa! Been trying to get to this thing for years. My husband is going. Lucky!!! 

Claire, anything extra special IFX cool I could have him pick up for me at your booth?

my wife joins me every year I go to the FanExpo convention here. she loves seeing all the oddities and laughing at the geeks and nerds.

SDCC in July, FanExpo in August. It could be done. Any chance you're going to come to FanExpo in Canada at all?

Oh Adam, I wish I could. Just can't afford it! I'm a totaly fan girl. Chances are high, I would go cosplay style too. Yes, total nerd. I would love, love, LOVE to go. Just can't. Hoping for next year. It seems by the time the con comes, something else has come up that sucks up the 'ol finances. DOH!!! Hubby is there for work, lucky ducky!!! 

It sound like you two are a match made in heaven!! LOL! FanExpo sounds fun. Is it a pretty big con over there? 

yah, pretty big by our standards I guess. it draws in about 50k people over the weekend on average.not nearly as big as the SDCC but I think FanExpo is the biggest Canadian show.

you should tell the hubby to get a second pass from work and you could go as a volunteer.

He stopped by the IFX booth. He said there was an artist there and some people hanging out chatting. But no T-shirts or anything like that. Waaaa....Ah well. In the meantime he tells me he has found some nifty gifties for me! No doubt they are nerd-a-licious!!! LOL!
