 Now in it’s seventh year, SAND is a four-day event that features a strong mix of presentations, events and workshops, highlighting the best and latest CG work in games, film, SFX and related visualization industries.  The programme underlines Wales’ fantastic heritage in the creative industries and includes animation screenings from around the world, conference sessions on games, AI, films, post-production techniques, TV commercials, mocap, professional sector workshops and business seminars.
 
This year, David Sproxton, Co-Founder of Aardman Animations will be attending on Friday 17th November and will be presenting their computer animated comedy, Flushed Away, so they’ll be a great opportunity to network and meet some of the real industry leaders in this space.
 
Currently SAND 2006 is expecting to welcome delegates from the likes of DreamWorks, Aardman Animation, EA Games and Pixar, so they’ll be plenty of opportunities to network and mix with some of the industry insiders working within the region.
