    Speed Warm up

This is something I started at work on my lunch break to warm up - liked it enough to take it home and keep painting. I plan to take it further with photo textures and really take it to matte painting finish. I have some great photos I took in Laguna Beach that will be perfect and some cliffs I took in Mexico and Hawaii...I am really inspired by this one.

    Hey Halvarado,

I really like this, I am not quite sure what it is but there is something about this that reminds me of some of Salvidor Dali's work (predominantly the foreground).  Maybe it is the muted tones.

Keep going, I can't wait to see it finished.

I dunno....personally I think it's coming along just fine without the textures.

nice start. can't wait to see it a bit more though. at the moment I like the depth of the rocks, etc, but I find the buildings all have a linear flat look  to them.
