Old heroes never die in bed WIP

This is my latest WIP - hand on heart this entire image is right of my head without any source material.

Rejs, how are you intending the face to look? if you want it to look like a normal person, you need to look at a reference as at the minute its all very Picasso, or is that what you want it to be like?

i have to say i find your way of painting really strange, how you just stop at certain places! We're all different i guess!

From the way the hands and torso look, I'm pretty sure the Picasso-like style was what rej was going for.

I hadn't intended any particular style, but when my partner Joanne pointed out it looked like a Picasso I thought it was cool. To be honest I just wanted to draw an image I have had in my head for a long time, and hopefully it will come out well.

I do you a base scetch, but I prefer not to post it wiht my WIPs.

yeah ok, i've just checked your DA gallery & it seems you tend towards picasso in your other images. You mean you have a sketch but you just show the painted bits? I get it now.
