    Zombies

I'm a huge fan of Zombie movies and stories.

They don't ever get old for me. I'm currently writing two screenplays for zombie related movies and have a vast collection of zombie pics.

I've also been known to dabble in make-up once and a while and I like to share some of the pieces I've done.

All of these ones are from a never to be finished movie called Lawn of the Dead.

I was asked to do make-up for it but had no budget and no time to prepare.

Luckily I have alot of Ben-Nye make-up and some good subjects.

The top one and the next one are my buddy Chris. "CHEERS CHRIS!!"

These photos have been mildly adjusted in photoshop.

     This next guy was great.

He didn't really need to much make up but it helped make him look even creeiper.

This one of him I tweeked alot in photoshop made him scary as possible.

    Hope you like.

    Comments welcomed and appreciated.

Was there going to be production on this, or just you guys fooling around? I'm curious if there was any footage taken.

All I seen was these joke edits Matt Towers (writer/director) but on a myspace page.

    here's the link

Matt says he's still editing the footage.

I would love to see a copy.

You can also find Matt on deviantart. He just started his profile.

    Re: Zombies

Regretably, this is the only pic I have of the zombie make up I did on my friend Brad C. I had a fun time doing the make up and it came out well. I only had a toss away camera and it blew out all the detail and look like poo. I messed with the photo in photoshop and added some grain.

    Rest In Peace Brad.

    Re: Zombies

Here's a make up I did for another movie that the Creator never finished.

It was to be a short 15 minute movie called Bank Robbing Zombies.

It was a great idea for a comedy/action/zombie movie...

    Oh well...

    Here's the Pics!

This make up was a lot of fun.

The actress was a beautiful woman until I pasted this thing to her face for over 12 hours!

    I was so mad.

This is how it went down.

We all got together early in the morning and started setting up lights and moving furniture. I was asked to put the make up on the actress and after I did they horsed around with pick up shots, and other non-make up scenes. They did not film her until well in the afternoon. Having a make-up appliance, especially foam latex, on for that many hours is terrible for your skin. The worst part of it is taking the appliance off after that long. The skin is basically raw where ever the adhesive is and sweaty everywhere else. Its not fun for me or specially for the person in make-up.

That's a huge problem that first time movie makers do...
