ok, so i have two photos, two seperate canvases, how do i highlight a section of one, say a tree, and then port that over to the other canvas, which is say a beach, therefore making a beach / tree scene out of two photographs but making one?

 

have both images open, lasso the bit you want to make a selection, then use the 'move' tool & drag it into the other image, you'll have to resize it though.

Does it work like that? Sliding it across? duh! I have always copied and pasted it, didnt occur to me to try to slide it across like that, its a  much faster work flow. You starlet, you have shaved seconds of my beechtree pictures Kazky
