I use vue 6 extreme too.  mostly for illustration and providing fast concepts for briefs.

at the moment Im using it to make a map from a DEM of part of mars.  the real mars that is, not the confectionary bar.  Ive created the area as a procedural terrain model and now Im poulating it with various townships and mining colonies (in the game mars has been terraformed and is a hive of mining activity).  when its done it will be used to create any number of images for a scenario book Im helping Warband Miniatures create. I love it, rather than draw 20 different landscape images I can create the images from any view and keep all the locations relative to each other in the images.  I can then illustrate ontop to add in bits relevant to the various parts of the scenarios.

I really love vue 6 infinite. I'm now studying with the personal learning edition, but i'm planning to buy the complete software the next week.

I'll use it either for matte painting for my fantasy photomanipulations, and for creating of beautiful alien landscapes.

I'll keep you informed on my next works here, and i hope to see many other people posting here! 

I tend to play with it a fair amount and love it. Getting your head around just what it can do takes a while, and you'll be wanting to make sure that your system has loads of resources as the more you do, the more you'll want to do, and the grander your pictures become!

I use Vue 6 Infinite and have noticed a fair improvement over 5 I. The way it handles things seems to be a lot better and easier, and the rendering engine has definietly improved.

Maybe we should start posting our works in this forum?? Just put a new one in the 3D forum.

I've owned Vue since version 3 was a give away on a magazine's cd-rom... I liked it so much I  took the upgrade offer and upgraded to 4... Now I have Vue Pro Studio 6.5... I love Vue but I seldom use it now as I'm too busing with my photography and restoring/maintaining my 1960 Corvette....

Once the summer ends I'll probably re-discover Vue...and Wings3D as wella s Hexagon...
