in Painter X, when using brushes such as the pallet knives and the smeary impasto....is there a way to rotate the brush?

im using a wacom bamboo...not taht i think thatll effect stylus controls etc....but i cant seem to find where to change the settings....if there are any....

any help will be appreciated...cheerz....

You need to adjust them through the brush creator menu and play with some settings. The brush creator is available from the drop down menu top right by the brush selector bar (look like a big black triangle). you get a window open with loads and loads and loads of settings to play with. I think for what you are trying to achieve you need to go to the "angle" settings, then select "bearing" from the expression drop down menu. That makes the brush face the angle you are painting. You might need to fine tune it with some other settings though. You can get some pretty nice effects from some of the other expressions in the list.
