Time is always running out. I heard scientists have discovered it's moving at about 60 seconds a minute. We are all doomed.

OK, I think I'm done with this weekly, my time is up. Learned alot during this and that has been my goal in doing these ov er the last month. Nice work ev eryone.

Omelmahay- great work, big improvement over the previous wings, I also really like the digi square elements at the top. And the red cloth adds nice contrast. Gantz is good stuff too, though Iv only seen the first few episodes.

Jack- really liking your wings and the pattern on the body.

Everybody else keep it up their coming along wonderfully.

Here is an update from me, going to have to do a marathon paint session here cause I dont know how much time I will have tomarrow.

Thanks for the kind word Eaglecaste, it's definatly a complament coming from you. Thanks for the crit rabbit, those wings had to go. I will try to get some Death Note watching in soon, but my girl keeps telling me I should be watching Gantz first:) I'm glad you like the pose Robin, I picked up the reference for it at http://www.posemaniacs.com/ BTW, I'm sure most of you know about this site but I can't tell you how useful a resource it is. I do 15 of the 30 second sketches twice a day along with 2 sets of 3 negative space drawings and two hand skethces (cause those damn hands always give me a hard time). I've been doing it for almost a month and it really seems to help, especially the 30 second sketches. They are hard but they make it so your brain recognizes the human figure in different poses more instinctivly than it used to. I do ramble on, anyway here is the last wip (although maybe I should do one more, i dunno).

Thanks Eaglecaste, I wanted to try some more interesting poses, materials and light sources with this one. I actually had to tweak the angle a bit as the legs seemed too big at first and not quite under the body. I am working on some different textures and throwing in more storytelling items.

noticed alot of you are using wings, they are awesome and deserve to be done amazingly so i made a quick wing tut/ref

as you can see, threes the bone/muscle which is covered by very small and fluffy feathers, next you have a layer of short feathers, followed by the final long feathers, which vary the most in size short feathers are relatively fairly consistent in size (however there is a noticeably longer section where the wing is broadest)
