Yeah it's a very resonable price! Just google "ipod stylus" you'll find plenty for sale, or look on youtube for home made ones (made from a pencil, tin foil and tape)

Yeah pretty much the same as the ds version but there is a aceleromiter and pointer setup screen, also you can connect direct to the colors gallery to upload and save pics.

As for scratching the screen look on Amazon for screen protectors, I have one on my touch it is perfectly clear, easy to apply and there not expencive.

I've uploaded a couple of paintings to the colors gallery so yes I have loaded it and done art on it. Though mine is a 2g Itouch not a Iphone.

While I'm here has anyone tried the ipod app "Beatmaker"? If not I say you will be amazed with what the programmers can do with the ipod!

It's a music creation program that is just awesome!!! Look it up...

£2.99 , now thats manageable, i make telephone calls that cost more than that. So where do you get that drawing stick form? And the program is the same colors one, right? Im not entirely sure i want to scratch my fone screen up doodling on it, its got alot of stuff store on it, show and clips and the like and fotos i'd hate to mark the screen. Have you loaded it on? anyone done any art on an ifone yet?

There is a free version but it don't save, and a full version that does (only £2.99).

No, there is only a pay version (I think), but the people have put together some very nice images using the itouch.

The cool thing about that site besides the normal web stuff (you can link it back and forth to here). Is that people could watch playbacks of your painting...

Youve done some neat stuff on yours, love the spider picture. Love the fact that you can do the link and show the work in progress. I got all the gear and no time to sapre at the moment. Popping on here to have alook and to see your work in the challenges fires me up.

Not sure but I think the Ipod touch uses some sort of electrical resistance so any stylus needs to be around finger size and metalic.

can you use the DS stylus on it, or does that feel too big too?

i would LOVE to have an excuse to get an iTouch but i am really having fun with the DS right now, and i'm not sure i could get used to the tilt thing. plus i like being able to zoom in on touch screen and still show normal size on top screen. maybe if i get gift certs for xmas i will use them on iTouch.

Yeah I've been busy with the ipod touch I had as an early prezzie. It's a little tricky to master as to change the opacity one has to tilt the pod which will take some getting used to. Before long I can see myself trying to tilt my wacom as well. LOL

Viewing and posting to the colors gallery direct from the ipod is way cool though trying to paint accurately is a pain due to having to finger paint, there are stylus available but they are so big as to be pointless.

But overall colors on the ipod touch is awesome! highly recommended, but only if you can get on with it's quirkiness.

i just bought a used DS Lite just for Colors and i have to say i looooooooooove it. i'm thinking about getting an iTouch too, so would be interested to hear how well it works on that.

btw, edart, i was just over at the colors gallery and noticed you on the front page, looks like you are busy sketching away

Probably won't get the touch until Santa arrives, LOL. I've looked on ~~buy I~~tunes for colors, found there is a free version that don't save and a £2.99 full version that does. I know which version I will get.

I know from reading on other forums etc that the touch version is not so accurate unless you use a metal stylus which could scratch the screen, I have an old stylus from a pda (that wont work out of it's docking cradle, the pda not the stylus) so might use that if I first get some sort of screen protector. Always best to use protection.
