The book breaks the mastery of painting into component parts so that you practice in the most effective ways. I highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks (or doesn't think) their composition skills need work (like myself), or for anyone who doesn't understand it's importance in painting. This book is not just for beginners but for seasoned painters as well as Mr Roberts gets into some complicated stuff.

Enviromental 01 : Composition & Perspective [Open Class]

Hi Folks,

Over the course of a year, I hope to help share and build upon my existing skills as a Enviromental & Transport artist by helping direct monthly based topics.

Each segment will be run for 1-2 months, depending on participation and complexity. Two of them standing way back in the room and another is laying down. One is close and he is bigger. Now my problem is the perspective. I have made all three of standing figures right, but the one that is down on the floor doesnt fit in the perspective. I made the porpotions correctly but he is still looks of. Does anyone know how to paint laying figures and make them look right with the perspective?
