Em... Congrats to the win, well deserved! Just saw a documentary about Peter Tobin (one of the worst, if not the worst serial killers in UK) and I thought about your Dracula. Found it quite suiting:)

Interesting how many of the entries are influenced by the design of Coppola's film more than the book (not a criticism, just an intriguing observation).

I guess because - like with Bond, Holmes, Tarzan and others - the vast majority of people are more familiar with the movies than the original source material; and that the Coppola movie pronounced itself as Bram Stoker's Dracula, as if it was a very faithful adaption (which it isn't).

It is, however, a beautiful film to look at, and great fun for connoisseurs of dodgy accents (although, strangely, the least convincing English accent belongs to Sadie Frost - who is English) and scenery chewing (worst culprit - Anthony Hopkins, who more recently outdid himself with both roaming accent and hammy acting in The Wolfman)

Thank you, to all who voted for me.

When I decided to depict the Count as the old man with a moustache, I thought it might be a risky stategy, as it wasn't the "traditional" image of Dracula.
