Cheers Geir. Would be one of my faves too. Now sitting on someones wall...You know, its great to sell work etc but sometimes its like giving away your baby or something...oh well... :)

ahah!! Cheers Fabled. there was "something" bugging me about the Fairy one, i think u hit nail on the head there! :) It was a present i did for my gf sister. I like the kung fu one too, though it was done without an real plan and a few elements in it i dont like...particular poses, facial expressions (mick jagger lips in the guy in the bottom), but it was different from the wealth of Fantasy stuff i was doing at the time...

more good images Dark. there's a lot of character in that new one of yours. I also like the fairy one down below but it's a bit unbalanced because both the girl and the mushroom are leaning towards the same edge of the page. makes the page feel like it's going to fall forward.

just a piece i did a few years ago. I recall...I think i did middle guy and then just added in others as an afterthought. Some of the figures im not too happy with, and it was nt really composed very well, but i still kinda like it... :)

aw just a sketchbook -(in sketch books, unsurprisingly lol) although it needs an update. I'm doing the daily sketch challenge too. but I don't think I have anything worthy enough to put in a gallery. I'm a big fan of the simplicity of pen and ink. and yes colour lol, (so easy to oversaturate things and use too many colours when starting digitally, but you don't seem to have that problem). I started painting digitally when family guitars amps and pa took over the house and I had no space to paint. Hooked now although its slower in some respects.

looking forward to seeing more of your work

Thanks Nimh. Ive always been more a Pen and Ink artist, but im trying to learn more things, including Colour etc so im hoping embracing the whole Digital thing will lead to some nice results. At the moment im still finding i like to work drawings up on Sketchbook and then attempt to apply Digital finish... The wash effect on the first image is lovely Dr Dark. (I've just been looking at your gallery/portfolio too, the amazon is good and you have a lovely texture and good use of rimlights on your dragons eye girl)

cheers for the comment. In all honesty not a huge change, the first is very recent, the second is older. Maybe using Washes of ink more etc. Id been concentrating more on music (im musician) and had only kept on Art as a sideline teaching kids etc. But lately, ive got very deeply back into it, thanks to IMAGINEFX mainly, ive developed huge interest in Digital work and its possibilities. Im hoping to make up for my long absense!

Another piece. But this is older piece, 2003 it says, wow! :) Its Gandalf the White from the Lord of the Rings. Its not obvious???
