These drawings are cute and eye-catching. I see that you are confident with your lines and shapes, and you have very good control, too, thus bringing your characters and objects to life while adding fun to them at the same time.

I personally feel your first two drawings - ones with purely outlines, without cross-crosshatching, aren't as strong or interesting as the others; they feel too controlled, to rigid, and because the line weight and value is the same all over the place, they don't provide any focal points. The others are masterpieces in comparison.  I feel that your drawings are at their strongest when the lines are lose and with some patches of values. (For example, the pear.)

Oo-oo-oh really cool. I love the Telehead. Very nice colors. And the guy with the empty can. He is also my favorite. I think you captured his expression very well. Keep it up!

First off Betty86 I want to say you've got a great style and you are really able to get feeling through in your cartoons. That being said I think what you're missing is a solid foundation to hang all of that on. Even in cartooning you need to have that since of "This could be possible in the real world." A cartoon is based on the human form but it doesn't have to conform to all the strict rules that come with an anatomy drawing as long as you can get the form down and that feeling of 3D. You need to develop a skeleton for yourself and start out with it before you draw the layout part of a drawing. The layout is the most important part of the drawing process. If you mess up in the layout stage the rest of your drawing is only going to follow suit. Here I've taken the skeleton that I use for layout and broken it down into it's basic parts and then drew over your last sketches so you could see what I mean. Just taking that little bit of extra time planning out your drawing is going to make a huge difference in the way your finished drawings turn out. Hope this helps looking forward to your future drawings.
