Cheers Smolin! Sometimes with my job, because it's so factual based it's hard to be creative when I get in and I find it kinda tough mentally to actually sit down and sketch. I would love at some point in the future to be a freelance artist or something. I've always played around with the idea of doing it and getting a website up and stuff but I never take myself seriously and kinda defeat myself before I've even started!Maybe one day when I get half decent at PS I'll give it go

Great works. I love your portraits. I agree with Smolin, rocket girl looks so promising. Cant wait to see where you gonna take it from here. The black and white picture of the girl also looks  really cool.

Wow those are superb . I love the first one a lot. that reflection on a side of the camper and the chrome wheel caps look fantastic and real. Are we gonna see the whole series of those?

A friend of mine is well into V-dubs so I thought I'll have a go at them by just sketching off some photo references first, quite enjoying it to be honest. Going do some more and maybe some beetles and polos I think.

Quite like this one (photo ref again) I think I'll keep on with it and see what I get

Cheers Alex! I read some blog somewhere where you posted a sort of background/history to how you became a freelance artist, great read! What came across was the amount of effort and time that you've banged in to this over the last 3 years or so, kinda made me realise that I'm way too 'bit bobby' with my approach (It felt that the term 'bit bobby' was the best description of my painting lol) and I need put more effort...so thanks again

Anyway, another camper, this took me ages, I used this as a way of experimenting with masks but just got completely overwhelmed with the amount of layers I had going on, but felt I learned alot tho

While I'm here, whats the best way to post several pictures in one post?

 

This last one looks great, Matt. The colors work very well in it. ... As far as posting more then one pic, I believe the only way to post multiples here is to host them somewhere else, and then you just add all the inks you like in your post. But only 1 pic per post when directly uploaded from this site. ... Think I've heard mention of others using photo-bucket, or similar sites. Though I also see sometimes when the all the images will disappear from time to time, when they have any issues with the hosting site.
