Yeah, I am pretty puny at the moment... I put on a brave face to take Petar around the museums with Sofie for a few days, but I am well and truly knackered... great news though, Charlotte - and I have some exciting news brewing, too! Keep mid-October clear... :D

Re: Northern Light Workshop - April 20-22, 2012

-Been wanting to write a big Thank you for an excellent weekend ever since I got home and failed so miserably; came home to a ton of work(good) and managed to crash my PC the followingTuesday(bad!), was able to borrow another around 2 weeks later, which I managed to ruin within 24 hours(VERY bad indeed!!), so all internet access I´ve had since has been short and sporadic at best.

So hence this very belated Thank you guys and gals for a fantastic weekend and a great course!

Dave, I sincerely hope you´re up for doing this again, hopefully at the awesome place you mentioned north of Gothenburg. And a week this time please; the weekend ended waay to fast!

Hopefully with the same teachers. They rock! Really appreciated their way of passing knowledge.

Hope to see you all in the fall !!

    /Iver :)

PS. @ Andrea; thank you very much! :) Guess the same goes for David and I; so many clean-skinned people normally freaks me out, them being prejudicious, which this weekend thankfully was relieved of. :)

oh yes, us untattooed people tend to look very frightening Smile

And I have to agree, a longer course, at a place like Gerlesborgsskolan*, would be awesome. But not until I can afford to go again! Stick out tongue

    * sorry the school only seems to have info in Swedish, which I hope is OK for Danish people but it might be more difficult for English speaking folks to understand Smile

    Hej, Iver & Charlotte!
Thanks so much for posting - I know how it is with delays... seems like I just got pounded with work and illness the moment the course ended! At any rate, once people decompress from SFAL, I am going to discuss the next workshop with some people this week. I'm starting to get a few other bright ideas as well...

Frustratingly, Kate's and my course at Gerlesborg was cancelled due to renovations! I was planning to talk with them about their schedule, but now I am not sure if I will get over there next month. They're supposed to ring us today with info, so we'll see.

It was so great to meet everyone. I was just posting some picture on the blog yesterday and felt very wistful at how fast the whole thing went - it was a like a blur. I still have 50 questions each for all the teachers! So much fun, though - watching everyone who was working with natural media inspired me to hit the canvases again, and so I have two fairly successful paintings on the go (as well as having both a Meseldzija and a Kantelinen drying next to each other in the corner of the study for good mojo).

Well if you happened to see my freaky pictures from my goth punk days in Facebook, you can probably guess I was just joking with ya :). I've looked scarier than you two put together at one time! :) And in all honesty - people are so unique and different in the modern day that I highly doubt anyone really blinks an eye anymore no matter how someone looks. Which is very cool.
