Great stuff...thanks for sharing. I love the genre you've chosen. Hey if I were you...which I 'm not..but if I were ... A) I'd lessen the hard white edge on piece two here unless you specifically want it that hard for some reason and (this probably seems completely strange to ask this next comment/question so forgive me)  2) Can you please tell me what program your using and would you possibly thing about giving some tutoriolulus on here showing how you achieved some stuff like your backgrounds for instance? That would be awesome.

carly801, thank you very much! Both of these images were done using Corel Painter 9. I use Adobe Photoshop rarely, mainly for the dodge tool, the fireflies in the second picture were done with it. I don't have any fancy techniques, I paint everything on one layer, using mainly these brushes: the clumpy brush and the tapered oils brush from artists' oils, the triangular oil pastel and the chunky oil pastel from oil pastels. the background of the gunman picture was done with the clumpy brush. I hope this helped.

Here's my latest. I'm not quite happy with how it turned out, but for now I'm done with it.

 Hi guys, it seems I haven't posted here in ages, so here's some of my recent work. I hope you enjoy :) . Comments and critique are most welcome.

 I was partly inspired to do this drawing by the recent influx of mash up movies like Cowboys vs Aliens or Cowboys vs Ninjas (The Warrior's Way), etc, etc. So I figured why not cram some of the stuff I like into a fake movie poster:

Amazing stuff. Those two figures in the dark room actually make me queasy, so thanks for that. But I think one of my favorites so far is the kitchen scene: it's a weird and wonderful blend of the domestic and the post-apocalyptic, with an extra sense of menace from that hungry-looking stove. It's that strange and completely offbeat sensibility that really makes your work stand out.
