I finally subscribed to Ifx after 2 years of buying it and the main reason was you get a free copy of ArtRage 3.5 for doing it, so i did it and I still haven't had any info about how to claim it.

Is this because its easter and there needs to be a human to confirm the download or something? And they're on holiday? 

When I subscribed I made sure I used the promo web address and the actual product was the magazine 6 month direct debit with artrage promo!

Just worrying i'm gonna miss out because the small print says they only have 250 copies... and if they run out i'll get something of equal value... but if it's the magazing company (myfavouritemagazines) they might give me like, some shoelaces worth £50 off their jogging magazine or something lol!

When did you buy the sub? If it was Thursday or later then, yes, I wouldn't be surprised to find the office is on hold until tomorrow. Because of your wait I think it's only fair that they throw in the jogging magazine too.

I bought it yesterday but I'm used to getting the key straight away with other things I've signed up to etc, hence the worry lol, thanks for the response :)

Im a long term subscriber, no plans to cancel but sometimes when I see the subscribe now and get this <insert really cool awesome art thing here> for free I wonder if id be better off cancelling my subscription for a month just to get the <insert really cool awesome art thing here> for free.

 

Probably a bit of a long shot but how about some free love for the folk who are already subscribing? how about a free full Gnomon video or similar?

I agree, Chantika, I also consider taking a break sometimes just so I can use a nice sub offer - but then I live in a small town where I can't get the magazine in the shops, and I wouldn't want to miss an issue! And it's been commented on before too - we're not alone! :)

Actually you know what would be really good? The IFX binder should be automatically sent to you every time you renew your subscription for another year...

Now that makes sense. I do happen to have one binder that I recieved when I first got my subscription, due to factors beyond my control it was put in storage a few years ago and Ive only just got my hands on it this evening. And Ive spent quite a jolly evening putting 12 months worth of 2010 issues in there.

But to be honest I like  sifting through all my ifx magazines daily on a random issue rotation anyway hehe

 

So...how about it? a binder on subscription renew? doesnt look that expensive to put together and surely makes sense?

I was just thinking the same thing.  I subscribed literally in March and that offer was on the table, yet I have not heard a single thing about it.  I got a subscription confirmation email, which I apparently deleted (much to my dismay) so I don't even know who to contact about this.  I'm a bit annoyed by the whole thing.  It was the thing that pushed me over the edge to subscribe, since it's not cheap to subscribe and all.

Did you make sure you used the correct code for the subscription when you placed the order? They usually have 2 or 3 different subscription offers running at he same time, so if you used the wrong offer, you wont get the software. There should be contact details on the site you placed the order through, and you should probably have an account there that you can log into to check your details.
