Hexagon is one of the easiest modeling programs I've come across. If you feel the need to use 3D then there's now no excuse for anyone. Blender is great but intimidating.
Hexagon is a stand alone box modeler, it doesn't do anything else not even rendering. But it does it very well and simply - a bit like Sketchup - except it has far more functionality than Sketchup. There was talk of Hexagon and Carrara merging, as the latter's modeling capabilities are not the strongest. But who knows what Daz are up to these days?
