The effort that has gone into this painting has realy paid off Mark. It's a beautiful and very polished piece of work.

The stand-out feature for me is the patch of sweat on his brow. Very impressed with the texture on the shirt fabric. Stunning stuff!

I agree with Domtopia, and also add that you have some really effective framing. I'd be interested to see the result of enlarging the zombie and taking its value back

a bit. For me your two subjects a competing a bit, but this is personal preference.  Really Awesome work Markdraws!

I agree with Foxman regarding the zombie figure being a bit too "present". I wonder a little about the placement of the crossbow bolt -- it looks a bit like it's sticking in Darryl's head. But regardless, this is an excellent piece, Mark. You really captured him. I love the dramatic lighting, the rendering is top notch, and the composition is great.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the critiques and the complements. I'll probably go back and make some adjustments for my own portfolio for the future. I had a bit of a deadline (today, actually) with this one for the client, so I won't have time to make the edits before then.
