Thanks J and Sspikedudley for the props.

The video was shot over three days and totaled 5 and a half hours of footage.

This was condensed down to almost 4 minutes.

I enjoy learning from my own work. I would suggest everyone to film themselves,

it is a great way to improve your own work.

    J,

I really enjoyed your article!! I can't wait for more, great use of color and man

is it warm, I love how much warmth you put in your work.

Superb stuff; you're a man with an undeniable talent. I'd really like to see a speedpaint of one of your digital images in the future to compare your methods.

I love to watch speedpaints, it really lets you see what the artist is thinking as the image gradually builds. I enjoyed yours as well Joel, the one that was on the IFX DVD a few issues ago. Great stuff.

    Thanks,

I work completely different in the digital world. I'm obssesed with vectors. Rasters are cool, but vectors

are the cat's meow. With vectors you can use Flash to convey a concept rather than just proof an idea.

Check out my latest vector piece. It is still very rough, but you get more of a feeling for what I am doing.

Still 2D as well. I use a raster in the piece, but the vectors are what tell the story.

I am working on syncing the audio a little better, but you get the general idea.
