carly - They sorted the snake reflection on the DVD, so it's now totally flawless.

Penabled - Yes, up until the refridgerator it was great.

70 years ago this month, Action Comics issue 1 was published, featuring the first appearance of the first and greatest superhero of all time - Superman.

Here are the first and second actors to portray him in live action (Bud Collyer did the voice on radio and in the early animated series) - Kirk Alyn and George Reeves:

and the actress who played Lois Lane opposite both of them - Noel Neill:

Damn Euan I love your work..sheesh...hey got a quick question for you...what kind of brushes do you use in Photoshop? I'm using soft round  to hard round brushes...what do you recommend for me?

    Re: em... scribbles

    Thank you both.

carly - I use the hard round brushes mainly, and a set that are the same but squashed to about a third or a quarter of their height. I very rarely use soft brushes

kazky - George Reeves was great as Superman, and did as much for the character's popularity in the '50s as Christopher Reeve did in the '70s.

since i asked you that question em.. i've used the hard round and a slight variation of the same brush, i'm getting much better results, so i just wanted to say thanks (and to Martin) for enlightening me.

I like him too. But Superman is the archetype for all others.

Excellent work Em, I really dig your lines and you have a very dramatic style. I'm really diggin the Clint, and Kurt you caught their essence. That's What's HotYes.

I do. I believe she was the Sinner from Pinner. Think I've only ever seen one film with her in though and I don't think that was very good.

Was it Color of Night with Bruce Willis? It's hilariously bad. So bad it's gone past so-bad-it's-good and all the way round do bad again.

Yes, that would be the one. I vaguely remember he has some form of selective colour blindness. I'm pretty good on films, so it must have been fairly terrible for me to assign it to the dusty old dark place in my brain and forget all about it.

Hey Em...I know I've been away from this place for awhile...so I hope you don't mind me asking if you could sometime do a character or scene from Sin City. I assume you've seen it. Yeah? Great movie. I'm thinking there's a Part II coming soon too. But yeah...your choice...or whatever...I'd just like to see how you 'd depict one. No rush though. I always like seeingyour style.

Carly, Here are a couple of old ones, not from the movie, but from the comic.

    The Yellow B**tard:

And Nancy Callahan (she grew up, she filled out):
