Hello one and all, I didn't see or get involved with the August challenge so I shall steer clear of looking at it for a while!

Well I have thrown around a few ideas and am pretty sure I want to try some kind of a misty tunnel, I want to get a blend of fantasy - either dragon or faerie - and technology, possibly a city scape or umm :S dunno yet! Anyway here are some thumbnails, number 4 being my prime candidate at the moment but the bottom half needs something to be going on, any ideas?

I like the 2 bottom ones.  But yes the boat outta the mist thing has been done quite a bit.  I do like it more then 4 though.  Not to sure on what could make 4 more appealing for me.

Wow, this is lovely so far rorke - perhaps the dress can fade into the mist as if it were being created by it. Perhaps leaves blowing as well in the direction of the hair would be a nice touch as well as some butterflies perhaps.  Butterflies are always great, and fun to paint. They can add some lovely color and life to the image.  The figures look wonderful, great proportions!!

What a wonderful gift this will be. If I were painting something like this for my fiance though, he would want to see some nudity for sure, lol he's not as romantic as I am :)

Thank you so much radish57 :). That means a lot to me that somebody noticed and remembered my work from the magazine. My work was featured in a showcase section of issue # 35. It was awsome to have my work printed, especially on a full page.

Changing myself one pixel at a time

I'm getting in a picture too big for me, I think, but I should have enough time to finish this... And the weekly challenges... And the rebels... And I'll have a go at the cover, and the Christmas, of course...

Anyway, here is the warriors mob coming out of the mist. This is a very popular topic around the world, a group of yelling soldiers coming out of the mist, and I think I should have to try it too. I'll put a little twist in this one, though, in their armor and weapons
