I've been watching these challenge threads for a few weeks now, trying to pluck up courage to give it a try... well I'm not sure I found more courage or just got irritated enough at myself to overcome the need for it, but here's a very rough first composition sketch thingy.

Still very rough, but tidied up shapes a bit, added a tiled floor background and tried to get some idea of how I want it lit (the butterfly is supposed to be the main light source.

debated with myself about who/what to do for ages.. a portrait of Scarlet Johanssen nearly won out... but eventually I decided on Scarlet Witch.

so this is my first wip. its as detailed as my line art gets, and this is the 2nd pass Wink so from here on it its solid brush work.
