I just want to urge anyone anywhere if you are a fan to try and track down a party going on in your area for the final 2 hour episode. If you are in CA you will probably luck out and find a cast member in your area. Farewell great series.

Waaa, it's over. 

I mean, it makes sense for it to end now. But I just really loved the show.

I know, I know there is at least one spin off show "Caprica". It's just not the same. What no more Cara Thrace? *sigh* And yes, I'll tune in anyway and may even love it too! :)

Neeko, did you have a big BSG party? 

There was one here in NY at a bar. 120 people came. Lots of HD tvs, peoples and drinks. Everyone OOh and AAh at the same time. Was great.

I heard they filmed another 2 hour movie after, but I guess it was just the 2 hour "Thier Side" that is coming next week.

Can you beleive how awesome the last episode was???? 30 mins in was some crazy action.

*SPOILERS!!!* Read at your own risk if you haven't seen the final season ending of BSG.

I was actually disappointed. I loved the action, but overall....*shrugs shoulders* I felt empty when the credits rolled. Like I'd been ripped off. I liked how they tied the "visions" into the present reality. Little things like that were pretty cool. I guess that was just it. There were a few "neat moments". But I still had some questions that were NOT answered. 

How is it Ty was a cylon and yet him and the admiral went to the academy together as young men? How could Ty age? None of the other final 5 aged. Never answered.

Cara is an angel? WTF?!? So, how in the world could she NOT know that? And what was up her death/rebirth thing? Was that supposed to have been achieved by the One God? Never explained.

Ok, then we have the 6 and Baltar angels. What??? So again huh? Did the One God choose to give these angels those particular faces for his purposes or what? Never explained!!

ARGH, wtf!!!!? I hate shite like that. Brilliant show, let down ending. (The over the top sappy orchestra and all that made sense, I mean it's the end and all that but not all the "truth" was revealed.)

Like I said, I LOOOOOVED the show, but the ending left me feeling a bit cheated.  

Yeah, there's alot of concern about the ending. I was very excited for the first hour, then, the second hour kind of dragged on. Like they could have fit it into 30 mins but went on about it.

The writers came down to the very last episode. They were still writing it right before it got shot. In the end, they wanted to give closure to the characters. It might explain why the second half was so long.

It turns out Ty didn't go to the academy with Adama. They met after the war, the memories he had were implanted. (Says Jane one of the writers)

Is she an angel? I'm sure she is, but there's just something not tangible about it. Because she can touch stuff. I mean is 6 and Baltar angels too? They can't touch squat.

Katee Sackoff in an interview said she felt that everyone got an ending, but not Starbuck. But in the end, that's just how Starbuck is.

Yeah, I feel like parts of the end were stretched out, but I'm sure holes were created so we can see Caprica and go "Oh...." .

See, I could buy the memory implant thing, if the Admiral didn't have memories of them in the academy together as well. 

Yeah I don't get the angel thing. Cara's death, but no wait she's alive, and she is not a cylon. What? *scratches head* As for the 6 and Baltar "angels" they did touch things...but only two being saw them. Like angels, their aren't many reports of actual sightings. Like I said, I don't get the angel thing. LOL!

And yes, actually the last 3 episodes seem a bit lengthy. In fact the last 2 episodes before the finale seemed like "filler" episodes. Which is why I expected the finale to be much grander (and answer ALL questions) than it was.  

All well it's still a brilliant show. I guess because of the ending I would have to give it a 4 out of 5 vs. a 5 out of 5. Still a pretty darn good show. :D 

Here's hoping the spin offs are brilliant in their own right! 

Oh, here's what I forgot to mention.

There is alot of talk that Daniel(the added final 5) was Startbucks father. We never find out who Daniel is.

Hmmm....now that's an interesting theory.  Complicated, but interesting. Just like the show! LOL!

If that were the case, Cabal would apparently have no idea Daniel fathered a child. And that begs the question who was her birth mother? Is it the woman that smoked like a freight train and abused the hell outta here or.....?

Interesting indeed.

Actually, BSG ties in nicely with a lil known sumerian mythos about the alternative history of the origin of mankind, tied in with 2012. 12. 12 and emmerich's movie adaptation about it all
