Now there's a chalenge for you all ImagineFX lovers!

I have never seen a tutorial that hade lookt unique. That's why i want to put a chalenge out there to anyone who dares to step away from their usual style of painting beautiful looking wemen with flowers around them everywhere to guys who paint robots and dangerous looking plane with gatling guns stapt to them.

    The chalenge is:-

Paint an organic robot. Or paint a robot that is half machine and half organic. For example. Make him or her be dangerous in the front with all the weapons you usualy paint with all the armour. And the back of that thing is half insect and half jelly fish in the buble or some enlarged organism.

And put him or her in a situation and not just posing around. Like for example. this robot looking thing just came out of the sea and he's looking down to the litle girl who stands in front of him and giving him a candy or something.

I know that Andrew Jones, Francis Tsai, Jonny Duddle could probably do it with their cool twist but why cant you girls try this one. Put flowers on the robot if you cant resist, but try this chalenge.

Now this is a bloody chalenge for you!

Well?................................no body is piking upp the chalenge? Ow well, that's too bad profecionals.

    That'd be a cyborg.

    There's a few in this month's challenge:

Errr - can someone translate full what the poster intended to say originally. I get some aspects of it, but ... not the full context

unfortunately every message he posted was pretty illegible, i don't know if it's text speak or what. Guess he is from Sweden so that could be it. Basically he said what has been said a million times before, design an organic/robot being. Probably if he read a few threads he woulda seen that it pretty much happens every day. oh how many challenges & theme's have had that?

    innovative eh?

I think they're having a hard time understanding you, perhaps going back over your text and making sure your sentence structure isn't to flawed might help avoid misunderstandings?

That said, I'm not american either, as mather of fact... I'm french... and these people for the most part are no more american then you, they're from the UK. English may not be my mother tongue, but at least I try to make myself as readable as possible, you should do the same, it will avoid gross missunderstandings and allow people to better answer your questions... because no, it's not easy to understand what  you're trying to tell us.

edit: and why is this in the workshop section? Huh?

But someone just pointed out that he did not understand you. Please be more considerate of others.

Joe this is fnatasitc!  I was scrolling down idly and this piece completely made my heart skip a beat or two!  My mobile phone has now also been relocated to the freezer where it can't get me.........this image definitely sent a shiver up my spine!

    Nem :)

Oh - and I couldn't understand him either - probably a mix of attitude and bad english

kindo of stretching it here by posting but... My cell iphone just died today as I was raking leaves. I suddenly felt this burning in my front left pocket and took it out. The painting definitely made me think of my dependence on the stupid thing as does every waking hour now.  AHHHH!

Maybe Tyson apetizers will help me sleep it off :).

Ever notice at the end of a film in the cinema all you can see are mobile phones lighting up peoples faces.

Well there's one area where I've disciplined myself to keep it in pocket and on silent. Too often have I been annoyed by the moviegoer who either texts incessantly or chooses to answer his phone and speak as if he's in at a music concert. (very loudly).

But yes I have. For those of you that were worried, you can now get some rest since I recieved a replacement yesterday.

Unfortunately it's not just at the end of the film. Cinemas should install gun turrets (with silencers) that immediately shoot anybody that touches a phone... and anyone that speaks... or moves in anyway whatsoever... or is under 36 years of age... anyone that isn't me should be shot upon entering a cinema so I can enjoy watching what I paid to see.
