At school i used to call this guy "egg" i dont remember the reason maybe his head???

Anyway.. he hated it for ages then like 5 years later turns out egg is the only name he answers to!! haha my invention

I was thinking about this *popcorn* thing and i think we should stick with it and oneday it will be accepted and even loved?

With all the vengence talk I will be doing on this forum I better come up with a catch phrase to put you lot in line (like git) .

    I know

    Go to hell!

Kaz that's a brilliant sketch 8. The hair is particularly good for such a short time. I'd like to see this after a couple more hours, but these are supposed to be sketches after all. A lot of the sketches I've done so far, I'm sure will be developed , so this thread is a great way of getting ideas down. Have you noticed  that there's no time for artist's block!

em..., as ever, awesome work. I'm finding your work inspirational.

    Super heads Harle, cool Ninjas.

Good idea Grenich. I think I'll end up by doing a painting of my monitor as it gets closer to Dragon Scroll Day!

Zubasa, Superb armour. This is another I'd like to see finished.

Nicostaff, watching Dead Set the other night nearly made me miss posting my sketch 7.

thanks eagle, yeah i'm finding this really really useful, there's no time to dawdle on details so you just get it down & i'm liking these quick ones so much more than the one's i normally do, i'm going to try to keep this discipline.

em.. amazing from memory! that's my next goal. but not on the dailys!

I'd better post my 8 pointer. Not enough time to finish, as I got hung up on the detail again, but this is one I'm sure to revisit.

    Nice PegaUnicorn!

Thanks Martin. lol you missed the little joke at the beginning.page 10 I think where phoenicorn dared people to call him popcorn- who could resist. then he changed his avatar to a bag of popcorn, i think he secretly enjoyed it though. I guess its a pegaphoenicorn (?) then.

Abit behind today so just had chance to check the "witty banter". I will kill you all for your remarks. My vengeance will be swift and buttery, *guess I'm gonna have to add wings and a horn to my avatar*. Also to quote Kaz "GIT"

actually phoenicorn if you look at my pic post you'll see i drew it for you to make up for the teasing at the beginning a bit. It was what I imagined a phoenicorn would look like. It wasn't meant to be mean.

Thanks for the kind comment on my pics Alex soorry i've not been commenting folks, home pppl are complaining. everyone is doing really well

anyway here's today's post an exercise in distance using painter using only one colour and using only size opacity saturation detail to express distance (45 min) day 8 /pts 8

Robin - Good to have you on board as well. some nice concept sketches you got there, I particularly like the alleyway one, dynamic!

thanks for the kind comment. just wish i could do the digital versions properly, i always seem to mess them up.

ok, just another page or so pulled from my little cheap-o  sketchbook. rough ideas. will be sure to actually do a digital sketch some time. (as soon as i can get my computer to stop messing around with me)
