Post your Wips here please.... 

You may remember that team IFX are far too lazy busy to change the Image of the Day on the homepage during the festive period. So, we're setting you an art challenge to create a seasonal image that will be our Image for Christmas on our homepage throughout Christmas and New Year (from 23 Dec to 5 January). Think of all those people clicking on your image and getting to view your gallery of lovely artwork...

The theme? How about over-indulgence at Christmas and New Year. It's what Christmas is for innit? Oh, and someone's birthday apparently...

The deadline for posting final images is midnight (GMT) Sunday 21th December 2008. We’ll pick a winner and that image will be on our homepage for all of the festive period.

Okay, I'll get this wip thread rolling.. We can do whatever christmas related images, right? If so, this is mine.. You don't really see my idea here, but it'll come! Don't know if or how it'll work out in the end with this one, but I'm giving it a shot..

And I'm going for a grungy, dirty painterly kinda style, so, yeah.. If anybody has anything to add to this, so far, go for it!

what like The Grinch that stole Christmas?

this is my all time ever favorite Christams film, i dont know if its those cute little button noses or the fact that they made the story line rhyme...but i cant get enough of this movie. I even started a 6 foot tall paper machie over chicken wire frame model to put on my roof top. but gave up when i couldnt find a suitable way to do the green fur. It would have looked great to make a Santa getting his butt kicked by The Grinch display on my roof top. I still have a half a screaming Santa hanging in the garage!

A nightmare before Christmas ranks a close second, just tyring to get hold of a copy for my collection. That also has rhymes in the songs.
