I'm confused here. Isn't this Naruto? So the idea doesn't have to be your own for the contest?

Yian- yup it's Naruto, unless there's something I don't know there's nothing in the rules about what characters or themes you use in your piece. Some of the challenges have even encouraged using known characters (like the starwars universe challenge a few months back). I would actually preffer to use original characters for my work but due to an increasing demand for fan art I'm trying to dual purpose the challenges.I enjoy doing these because of the feedback from everyone and plus having a deadline keeps me moving. But since I don't have enough time to create challenge pieces and create fan art for prints at the same time I have to try and bring the two together. Hope that helps.

Oh okay. I was under the impression that everything has to be original because they made a big fuss about using other people's work in some of the previous contests. But if the rules don't say anything against it, I think it should be fine then. Sorry about the false alarm.

I am not too far from the finish line now. Not done any of the creatures on the floor yet and the Red crab guy needs a fair bit of work. Enjoying this one a lot though!

So, I haven't even thought of anything this week until now, which is gonna make this funny. So I just keep thinking of that movie "Against all odds" from the eighties.  All I remember is that phil collins sang the theme song and he may have been in the movie.  Also, I think that the guy who played Webster's father in the show webster was the bad guy or smething.  Also, I think there may have been a waterfall or something.  So, here goes with phil collins.

The challenge this week for me is finding time to do anything for the challenge.  Bloody tax forms and things like that.  I really must do something this afternoon, even if it's not finished.
