Not sure quite where I'm going with this, but I had in my head that myth about the fall of Lucifer.  Lucifer, the son of the morning, was an angel who rebelled against God - he was cast down into to hell to become Satan.

Nice one Apprentice. Yours is a different approach to what I expected would be taken. Then again I'm constantly surprised, (in a good way), by the varied ways in which folk approach these challenges.

    Ta,

Side issue, how do you control the size at which images are displayed in a post ?

I always set the dpi of the image to 72 before posting. That way the print size in photoshop/painter etc is the size on screen. Hope that helps.

Re: MyFX Challenge #94 "Angelic" - WiPs

You can leave the dpi at 300 or whatever, it's the width in pixels that determines the size. 750 pixels width is the size I use most often for wips.

if you're using photohop, the 'save for web' option works quite well, also if you resize the image to 1500 pixels, then save as a jpg, then undo, you save your image as a jpg which is good for viewing here, and then it saves as a psd.

I generally use project dogwaffle or art rage.  (That image is being done in art rage.)  So I export to jpeg, or in dogwaffle's case save it - open in infranvew and convert to jpeg.  What I want to do is have a relatively small image in the post that you click on to make big - but it seems to happen randomly.  I am attachinig the image using the options panel.

Well it looks as if Witchy has gone out of the window for me. Maybe I'll finish mine some other time, or not as the case may be. Anyroad, here's my first WiP for Angelic.

Aaagh, there 'aint enough hours in the day! I feel guilty enough for not joining Martin, Blizzard and the others at the Intergalactic cantina. There are still a couple of weeks left for Witchy but I doubt I'll finish. The piece I was working on is massive. I have two witches, pulled along on a sliegh by elven slaves, while they stick pins in corn dolly of a  levitating Satyr who writhes in pain above them. It's their idea of a fun day out, but for me it's donkey's of work!
