Hmmm.. the age discussion... Always makes me feel like I should have tried harder when I was just a wee tike.
Here's my idea for this one.

Started working on the DS, but since my card has been kind of cranky as of late, I just laid out ideas (which I'll post later).
Then sketched on ArtRage, I was going to get out the old sketchbook and use pencil, but my scanner is being a jerk too. 

So here we go.

Okay, so we are a mix of olds n youngs.  Cool!  I would like to know how many of us actually get paid for what we do, and if those who do get paid can offer advise to those who don't, in amidst our wips.

Gix - i hate to say this, but i prefer your painted works to your blender.  Your paint has so much style and quality to it it is almost iconic!  but then your blender skills are coming on a treat.  Oh I dunno!  Love the way you already have your concept nailed.  Give it up for the DS (mine ran out of power today mid concept!!!)

Here is my rough - some sort of horned warrior astride a dinosaur-ian-monster with some serious horns type thingy.  Just checked out dinotopia and realised that my concept looks very like one already there, so will have to do some extreme work on it.  I am hoping for a kinda impressive imposing cartoon like illustration - sub 4 hours?  Got some nasty perspective to work out in this one, so don't know....  Will give it a go!

Thank you very much for that Byron.  I enjoy doing both painting and sculpting, I'm trying to find a happy medium between both.  Eventually I would honestly like to create small animations, but I'm still teaching myself some of the Blender.  But anyway, I appreciate the kind words.

As for the DS, I think my regular DS lasts longer than my DS lite.  So I do a lot of grunt work on the old DS, and switch to the lite for tweaks and color.  (the screen on the DS lite is 100% better than the old one)

Hey JD, hope mine doesn't turn out too similar.  Mind you  - have you seen dinotopia?  it really is worrying how close our images are to theirs.

 I have an idea however, though want to pursue my original post....

I am gonna try to find time to jump in on this one,   I have a base sketch that will become a hornedy whatzit eventually :P
