    Nightwish inspires me too, as do Nine Inch Nails, Saul Williams, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Massive Attack, and one hundred other artists... God, I listen to a lot of things :D

    I love listening to chants and just opera voices,lol....and lots of anime music without words, otherwise I also start to singStick out tongue unlike Kazs voice, mine is terrible and without rhythm, plus my polish accent makes it even worse,lol

    One of my favourite artists ever is Lisa Gerrard....the other cool ones are Ampop, air, evenescance, linkin park, ghost in the shell OSTs, metal gear OSTs and so many more etc.

    There should be a thread with self-portraits, then everyone will know how everyone looks likeStick out tongue

    EmiliaPaw ive thought the same thought, self-portraits is a wonderful idea. It would defo be interesting and just think of all the variety you'd get in there.  Good idea Yes

    Scary you dont know scary Martin because In keep with this thread the self portraits ought to be done while listen to music.
    But not just any ole sounds a special challenge, so when sketching the drawings you gotta have on  some good ole Country and western Music..you know line dancing music...and when laying down the paint what else but True colors by Cindy Lauper..

    Currently one of my favorite bands is Taking Back Sunday.

     

     

    Contrastingly  my favorite singer/songwriter is Sarah Mclachlan
