Thanks Charco!  I figured most people would be going for the tortured soul sort of theme. Just wanna mix it up a little. Although I must say there are plenty of good interpretations going on here.  Keep up the good work guys.

Who me?

Like the general lighting and the skull shadowing a lot - gives it a great mood :) The only thing that strikes me as a bit odd is the pose of the angel/demon thing in the middle but then again, its a  sketch. Speaking of dark and moody, some of the things here are an inspiration - Fantus, Charco and especially Solomon's dark and hungry monster :)

Yeah, I agree on the pose... Its just going to be a pain to move. I'll sleep on it for awhile.

Nice movement in the fire/clothing. Very flowy, good humor. This is going to be a fun challenge.

just a bit more rendering, smoothing out a bit. I may stick the chest of the figure out more to get a nice thrusting spinal curve to denote pain/tension. I'm not sure if I want to go for pain.

If you want to attach the file to the post like everyone else is doing, use the "options" tab in the reply editor (not the quick reply), and use the "file attachment" button. Then select the file and upload it. the pic won't show up in the post preview only when the post is... er, posted. You can only attach one file to a post this way.

Wow this one is winding up fast... some amazing WIPs in here. 

Here is what I'm playing with, the idea came about when I was discussing this topic with a friend and he suggested a colonoscopy with a demon showing up on the computer screen - and immediately I thought of the baby sonogram image.

There's a lot of month to go and I plan on doing both! I haven't done anything gory for a long time so it'll be a lot of fun :D Typically, I fail at drama.

Hey 

 I've never done one of these projects before, an since college has ow finished i thought i would make productive use of free time an give it a go. 

 this is a speed painting i did earlier today - i didn't know what i was going to do, other than draw a guy with orbs. There was meant to be 7 which each contained one of the 7 sins, though i only drew 6 for some reason...

 i don't know if i will use this, it was just an experiment i guess, but i thought i would post it up to see if what you guys thought, it took about 30-45 minutes + general faffing.

p.s there's some nice concepts a'going on here! like to see how they progress!  

And here goes another WiP...Obviously problems with the fire but they will hopefully be sorted as time goes - never painted fire before so its not too easy :) Anyway - ideas, critiques and comments welcome, especially with regards to overall composition. I have some ideas and I'll see how I can implement them in the next wip...
