Ideas... Room of some kind, bathroom perhaps? mirror as a central piece guy/girl looking into the mirror *serial killer?* with their victims stood all around them and there true self in the reflection.

 Kinda creepy and dark with the guy/girl looking oh so innocent on the outside yet letting us see there demons inside the mirror.

 

What do u guys recon to this idea?

 

 

Damn good idea. Wish I never started working on it before I read this. LOL. My idea is much similar except our central character has smashed his head into the mirror in despair as his demon self grins back throgh the cracked glass.

Cool. I never thought of cracked glass. cracked is so much more messed up lol. Its interesting to see what stange strange things ppl are coming up with. I like the fact that theres a whole story behind the picture.. or should i say behind the mirror?

 I will taint it im sure when i get it down. my skills are a WIP on there own lol.

 Id like to see yours though!!!!!

OK - it's the first challenge i'm drawing for and also, the first real wip i'm putting up here :) So, here it is - a quick pencil sketch in an old notepad i found in my grandmother's house. It's pretty straightforward and it'd have a lot of fire because that's what I currently want to try my hand at, work on light and shadow and such :)

Thanks :) You know, I have a shitload of work coming up this week, not to mention documents that need filling in and stuff, but I look at this thing and my hands start itching to continue drawing... Haven't properly done it in a long, long time - err, drawing, that is. Cheers to everyone as well - some really cool stuff is coming up for this challenge and some really interesting topic ideas :) I hope everyone gets it done the way they imagined it - I kinda doubt I'll quite pull out mine but I can always try ;)

Here is my WIP. No starting sketches. Never did any and wasn't sure when to post a WIP so here it is.

Nice Works. Its fun to watch he progression. I'm not quite sure of my direction here, but at least there are some marks on the page. I'll probably screw around with the comp a bit more before I go color/detail

Really liking it so far  dead_meat, Radio24  is the a skull subtly in the background of yours? Looks very powerful so far. Weazle  , nice twist on the theme.

conjunktionman  that looks like it'll be fun to paint, a lot of room to mess with reflected angles etc.
