Re: FIGHTCLUB Round 8: Mutated Vs Shrimp Bear

glad you like pix. i wanted him to be able to change but not too much. thats why i explain what he does. i cant suddenly turn him into some unbeatable creature though. where would the fun be in that. i think of it like this. balance it out, more speed means less power and vice versa. but i cant make him any bigger than he already is. i can only re-arrange bits.

    -----------------------

now in his new form. he begins to circle his opponent.

will his jaws be stong enough to damage his foe. or will he be captired by the picers before he has a chance. he continues to circle, looking for an opening.

Re: FIGHTCLUB Round 8: Mutated Vs Shrimp Bear

The sudden transformation of his foe would confuse Shrimp bear if it was intelligent enough to realise that shape changing is unusual.  Fortunatly its not, but even as simple a beast as he can determine that this new form is far more predatory and dangerous than the first.... He pauses for an instant, unsure...

Then, as Mutated makes its next circle, Shrimp bear lashes out with its scythe-arms, causing a long but shallow gash down the flank of his foe...

It doesn't seem to achieve that much other than to reassure Shrimp bear that this new form can be hurt...

Re: FIGHTCLUB Round 8: Mutated Vs Shrimp Bear

angry from the wound, the waves his arm in the air and spits violently.

swirving behind his opponent in preperation to attack.

he hones in on his area of attack. aware that this will have to be a skirmish, he will have to run for safety quickly after the attack has begun to avoid those pincers. this will have to be swift.

moving in for the attack. aiming for the legs. a possible weakspot of this collosus. they must be under a lot of strain from all his weight. if he can only get him onto his back, this will all soon be over.

sinking his teeth into the back of its leg and scraping with his claws. a loud cracking sound can be heard throughout the arena. a dead silence falls over the audience who wait in anticipation of what will happen as a result of this.

running for his life and almost compltely avoiding the swipe of the claws from a very unhappy foe. he escapes with only a scrape to the arm

after a moment of silence that seems to last forever. the leg begins to seep. a would was actually placed on this beast. although not enough to cause him any real concern, it is non the less a wound. could this mean that there's actually a chance for taking down this monster or are these only pipe dreams.

On closer inspection the bite got near one of its joints, cracking the thinner shell at the edges and causing blood to seep through.  Not a crippling blow but a very uncomfortable one.  Shrimp bear is not pleased....

He swings a claw right at the face of his foe... reasoning that the bit that hurt him is the best bit to attack...

Re: FIGHTCLUB Round 8: Mutated Vs Shrimp Bear

Hmmm.... looks like I have my work cut out for me.... only two days in and the enemy is already the favourite lol. Fortunatly I have 3 or 4 particularly visually cool attacks in mind yet...

Robin: Thanks, I thought it would be more fun to have a bit of a dumb creature because it's got a nice straight forwardness to its actions lol.  Plus if it was particularly cunning it would be far more difficult to make it have a fair fight.... 9ft tall, armoured, massive strength, blades and claws capable of crushing bones AND high intellignece would be a bit overpowered lol.

sorry for not posting in a while. have been occupied.

the punch connects. feeling like a wall hiting him in the face and almost taking off his jaw. it sends him flying accross the arena. luckily this is a big arena otherwise he would have hit an audience member. (they have to pay extra for that)

flying across the arena. bouncing accross the floor like some kind if ball.

"Like a meat ball " whispers an announcer

lying on the ground, shaken. (anouncer whispers: 'shaken not sturred!') he begins to get up. his head pounding. he gets up and stumbles. vomiting a mixture of stomach juices and blood onto the floor.

his face or to be more accurate, his lip, (seeing how his whole face is just one giant mouth.) is cut. a boil filled with puss has also burst, mixing into the blood.

he screams out in rage. a pungent odour filling the arena. mutated is not a happy.... um thing.
