    Skeletor

    Attachment: skeletor.jpg

Been seeing some of the retro stuff around here lately kinda got me on the track for this one. Will eventually try and paint it hopefully using nice moody lighting (which probably won't look like the picture in my head) I used a rough reference for the bottom half of the pose but i think the legs are looking too long and i suck at drawing feet, especially clawed onesSad

    Re: Skeletor

Looking good (as good as an evil skeleton-faced guy can look) but, yes, the legs are too long.

Thanks, i have amended the legs and worked in a throne and the bottom of his cloak, not sure if the cloak should go under him like that or maybe have it wrapped over his thigh. The feet are still way off (i can never really get them right)

Kazky, he wore a short skirt type of thingy with leathery slips (im sure someone knows the proper name) kinda like you would see in the film troy. Thats what the flower looking thing is meant to be in his lap.

It's like this forum managed to reach a speed of 88 miles an hour and travelled back to the eighties... ooh, must go, it's nearly time for Danger Mouse.

    Re: Skeletor

Oh yes there was. I'm trying to remember the name of the series. There was a fantastic moment where the hamster saves his human sidekick by opening his cheeks and acting as a parachute.

[edit] and technically Penfold (who was the real star of DM) was a hamster even though he didn't look like one.

[another edit] I think the show might have been Bounty Hamster.

    Re: Skeletor

You're just making that up now and Penfold was a mole!

    Re: Skeletor

    Nope

Although he is a hamster some people believe Penfold is a mole, possibly due to his dark brown colour and the fact he wears thick glasses, as moles have bad eye sight. In the season 3 episode called "The Odd Ball Runaround", the voice-over refers to Penfold as a hamster, villain characters also refer to him as "the hopeless hamster" in some episodes. Penfold can also be seen meeting a mole shown in the picture below, and is illustrated differently to the mole.

    And Bounty Hamster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZqblI0QUTE

    Re: Skeletor

You have indeed Bubs but it's looking good so far, maybe something very cathedral like behind him, with loads of skulls.

Still not convinced that Penfold was a hamster tho!
