    The Mad Punk Scientist

     I have started this picture after drawing a quick sketch showing an old man locking like a scientific with unscientific clothes. I keep the general pose from this sketch and have try to adapt it with CG technique.


    Mad scientist looking for the face, the hands and the context, and punk style for is clothes...hope you enjoy!

    I'm no expert on 3D, but i love this. Its so nice to get away from the usual space crafts and babes with guns and see a real wacky character like this. Love it! The leather looks very real, his eyes are great too. also, the hands have great posture.

    I totally agree with you about big gun and so one....3D is very young compare with drawing and painting, so I hope in the years to come to see more personal work instead that really impressive one Smile But I'm confident about this: with practice, it become a very natural medium, as drawing.

    Christophe - I totally agree with the last statment you made! Now that ZBrush and other packages are giving artist a more natural way into the 3D field we will see more personal stylised works coming ! Nice work!! Wink

    Really good my only crit is the nose looks slightly odd.

    To me it's the top lip, the nose and the lip are blending too much which is also doing something weird to the corners of the mouth. Otherwise pretty good.

    It is good, I have noticed that the bottom eyelid looks a bit like a plate and could be curved a bit more.

    love this...the disfigured look of his body is great...the jacket is textured excellently...really original style...great work...

    I love it, especially his unscientific clothes, is a great picture. i love the posture and the way his hand hangs down. brillant stuff.
