I suppose Picard is craggier than usual, but he is quite craggy these days.

banjaxedmdt - Yes, that's it exactly.

carly - I'll probably do an Iron Man soon (what with the movie coming out), but it'll likely be the classic 60s version rather than the modern style. I've never read a Witchblade comic in my life, but I might have a go at her anyway.

When you say I'm like Leo and Mike, are you talking about the Turtles?Smile

THAT's awesome Euan. You've motivated me to Work on my own 30Min. to 1Hourstudies. I have two More favors/requests1)Please never do a Captain Jane WAY(sp)

2)I've been thinkingabout doing a "Silver Surfer" but it's a Little Daunting forme. I'd Love to See you give him a go to see how you'd

    handle him.

Bob - A modern Shat is a possibility (is it just me, or do William Shatner and Albert Finney seem to be turning into each other as the years go by?)

Carly - That christmas card is one of my favourites too. It was actually inspired by a sequence in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

DefiledVisions - Yes it is. Great movie.

Carly (again) - I have no intention of doing Janeway, so you're okay there. Silver Surfer is a tricky one - I've never been able to get the hang of the right kind of poses for him.

Was more worried about his waist size, unless you were incorporating the theme from your mates sketch about not looking after his figure! Stick out tongue

    Re: em... scribbles

I did a Google search for the ref image I used - I think it was this one:

The way he's bent sideways he does look a bit tubby about the midriff but, with hindsight, I should have compensated more - I think it's one of those cases of something which you accept in a photo (because you know it's real), but which looks wonky in a drawing.

Here's an old Surfer sketch I did, Carly - the board is complete crap because I should have looked at some reference, but didn't.

The board is easy to fix for to - I'm just cursors about how you would go about rendering all the reflective surfaces

    With difficulty, probably.

You should check out this Silver Surfer by Daniel Cox - he worked with WETA on the movie, and he did the cover for Empire:
