    Re: Fish brains

Awesome! It's great to see a crispness of detail along with a wonderful sense of humour in this work. What's the app you used??

    Re: Fish brains

    Thank you, Domtopia.

All pictures are handrawn, but colored in photoshop. I using textures to make them look like traditional painting, but actually they are digital

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I decided to put little descriptions to my pictures how actually they become to what they become.
I will tell you straight that phrase "Ignore your idols" originally not mine. I just have one funny t-shirt with the same slogan, so I just thought it can suits perfectly to this picture.

In the beginning I wanted more dark atmoshpere to picture. But when I started to color it - my characters became really funny so I added beach and did it in more happy mood.

What I can say)) "Ignore your Idols" He-he

And a small commercial I made for Moscow company "Naidy". It's specialize on sliding wardrobes

    The Nutcracker

Probably everyone knows the story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by E.T.A. Hoffmann. So this is my alternative version of it.

I messed up a little bit with a backround. I didn't want to use snow or rain, because I did it already thousand times. So I just left it blank and I think it bring more sadness to picture.
    Well, your turn ;)

    Just quick commercial caricature

A few pages from my classwork. Page 9 and 10

    Re: The Nutcracker

Once again some wonderful work here, Landish!!

Your work reminds me of a comic artist called Sam Kieth. He's a favourite of mine. It's not that your styles are similar or anything, its just that you both tackle graphic images (I mean your portrait work specifically) in a way that, for me, brings out a sort of bright wonder, like seeing things like i did when i was a child.

Nothing short of awesome my talented friend!

We've got the fire to burn these motherfuckers down

    Domptopia:

    Thanks!

    kazky:

Thank you. I'm 27 =)) He-he. I just doing my Master right now in comics, so that's why I always tell class homework

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phew! Finished ) He-he. I couldn't find better name. I was listening many times song "Ful Nelson" by Limp Bizkit and saw exactly this picture in my mind. First I wanted to draw Johnny from Fantastic Four, but it didn't make any sense, because he is not a villian. So I just put random guy, that can remind Human Torch.

I never draw tornado before. I mean tornado in color, so I took some life photos for example. And as you see, it didn't help ) But this is fire tornado, so I always can say like: "Hey! This is tornado that actually not exist, so I can color it as I want!"

What else? Ah! I will use this picture for my tomorrow homework.

And these two last pages for my school. First one where story begins and last where it ends

My friend Zen and me made a video for Kickstarter.com (the world's largest funding platform for creative projects)

Re: We've got the fire to burn these motherfuckers down

Kasky: That comment was genius!! You're so right, it would be soul destroying for us mere mortals!! Hahaha!

Darktoons: You're welcome my friend. Your work is clear and bold and yet seems more arty than most other comic book images. I think you have the mix just right.

    Special feeling

    Kazky, Domtopia

    Thanks again guys =)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay this is a long story with this drawing!

    http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/4588/specialfeeling.jpg

Because of it I couldn't sleep at night. You know why? Because it was SUCK! =) Well, first of all some people thought that her arm got amputated and I didn't mean it. And blue hair wasn't suited to her. Anyway I changed it, so hope now she is fine

And these are some random pages from my last homework. I tried to keep it realistic, so that's why style a bit changed.

Here we go smth new. I made vector lines in Illustrator and then put colors in Photoshop. I don't have much to say about this pic. I can't wait to get my guitar back (I really miss it). And I enjoyed working with vector, maybe in near future I'll make more drawings with clean lines.

I did some work for http://gamua.com/
