I like the daily sketch because anyone can join in - seems to be as good a social thing as artistic; great idea Harlequin, because you encouraged us all to encourage ourselves and fellow forumites =))

For the first time in 2009 I have begun to doubt myself then something hit me, I believe it was a frying pan of some description now I don't remember why I doubted my abilities. All Joking aside I got a letter from university for my interview which is start of feb (eep) My tutor looked through my portfolio and well lets just say I got a lot of work to do. I think the sketch group will help me with this so enough with the doubts lets do this. With you guys and my tutor behind me I will not fail.

Thanks all but I am still gonna work on my portfolio. Feeling pumped. BTW to add to my portfollio I will be adding a list of short tutorials aimed at boosting the skills of beginner artists. link bellow

Casting my resurection spell on this thread.... kazam! There we go.

I was up to 3am last night studying perspective, even how the rules of perspective were discovered. Now
Im in work about falling asleep. Had a can of relentless which Im sure is close to being a class A drug if you drink enough fast enough. Im having a sort of out of body experience and feel a bit spewy. Nice .

Glad I got that into perspective... Im also seeing vanishing points, measuring lines, and grids every where.... an anchor point just sneaked up on me and scared me two feet off my ground line.

Yep I had a bad time last night trying to paint something. Just cant get anything from photoshop. I sit a scribble - delete and stare at a blank canvas, lol. Decided to go back and hit some basics.

lol Harle, good that you can see all these funky things. Even if it's a little bit of a headscrew.

Stick at it Oakseed. Show photoshop whos boss threaten to use another program... just mumble things about how good art rage is while your using photoshop... see if it bucks up its ideas... second thought thats not very motivational for photoshop... hmmm. Tough one.

lol. my son says relentless and skittles in combination do the same thing. wondered why his eyes kept going round in circles.-
