I find my own laptop gets extremely hot. I think it's just a characteristic of laptops. I just bought a fan thing to put under it and it works like a charm at keepin my laptop nice and cool.

Oh, and compressed air.... just looked through the posts a little. Thats reminds me of my dads compressor in the garage (never again!!!)... I almost blew everything apart. They don't make compressors like they use to.

LOL I was to lazy once so I decided to inflate my cycle tyre with one of those compressors, all went well and the tyre was fine but I thought maybe a little more. I was lucky to get away with only losing one tooth!

Haha, yes, compressors are bad.... we use to pump our bikes up at garage stations when we were younger. Suddenly you'd hear a loud bang behind you and see someone going over the handle bars. Very dangerous, but equally exciting

I've seen more people lose teeth and broken jaws more than anything, no idea why?? something to do with people going over handle bar. They should invent a net to catch them on the way down. Or helmets that pop out foam over the face.... i can see these taking off

Sigh... how do you explain to someone just finishing a maths degree that freelancing is not a good idea for a 2month get rich quick scheme so they can dive into art school?

If you could earn enough money in 2 months to pay you through art school, what's the point of art school. Art school gets you in a better position to go freelance, not the other way round.

Also, if freelance were that easy we'd all be doing it full time. Instead of slogging our guts out working for someone else, then being too done in at the end of the day to even be bothered to pick up a stylus for our own work.

GRRR... I'm bitter too.. I should be at home scribbling away, not in this sucky office job that pays the rent and puts food on the table.. grr grr grrr  

Lol!  That was beautiful Shady, and exactly what I was thinking, but apparently its not that obvious to some.. even when you try to explain that the actual time required to even just build up a client base is quite extensive and time consuming.

 and yes,,, I get annoyed when people don't realize how difficult the world of "Real life" and "making money" is... [:$
