see, I don't think she's that far out of proportion. not that I want to disagree with Emilia, but remember that your character has a curved back. if she were standing straight up I think she'd actually fairly close to accurate. I think it's the stance that's giving the appearance that she's disproportionate.

Well, it sure looks like this thread is not living up to its name! The party ended 4 months ago, and in that time I`ve been mighty (mighty) busy (and I have to get busy if I want to improve - celebrated my B-Day 1 week ago. 25. Hear the clock ticking?).
So, today I have for you a mix of what I`ve been working on during that period. Just digitals (and not all of them, rather my "pick of the litter"). I also have tons of pencil sketches and drawings stashed somewhere, but for the love of me I can`t find them! Proud to say there have been days when I was drawing up to 10 hours...and loved it! Hard as hell, but more so rewarding. Also, sorry for the messy look of the image, trying to compose an image of several images while thinking about file size is...ugh, hard?
Ok, it`s all here to CC. Give me your best shot!
*Wah, I`m just doing my nails and saying stupid things...
o pixl, you definately should have posted them bigger! after seeing them on CA, you cant see them in all their glory at this size! i think my favorite has to be the smokin betty in the yellow spandex. YOWZZA! love the rendering on that one. but they all look amazing man, your hard work is paying off!
nice pxel. your figures are starting to look damn fine, and nice costumes too. i just have one teency thing to point out, i think the hands might be a little bit too small. but these are looking very solid man, keep it up!
Amazing! Your anatomy improved so much! I'm loving these sketches! They starting to get that professional and high quality feel, great stuff! I'm falling behind, better get a move on
Thanks, Ema! I`ve decided to use some references for body postures, it`s much, much easier to know what to do instead of guessing. And, with studies, the guessing should be reduced to minimum...eventually...Nicky, thanks for the CC, I didn`t notice it before, now I do. Still have to fix the muscular dude...argh... *Wah, I`m just doing my nails and saying stupid things...
This weeks ChOW at CA, a steampunk harem girl. Tough one, have a long way to go, but it`s a great opportunity to tackle material definitions of different fabrics...fun, fun, fun!
