you guys got it wrong. He wasnt dreaming of him, Kevin imposed himself into his dream.
sure carly...
1. open a new document in photoshop or whatever program you use. make it 300px wide by 75 pxhigh. at 300 dpi design it however you want.... make sure its at 72 dpi when you save for web. save the original file for later use. when making size dimension it doesn have to be what i just specified, you can make it longer or wider, but keep in mind, huge signatures banners are intrusive and annoying.
2. okay, so now you have a web image, preferably jpeg or png is also really good. you are going to need to upload that image to a server. if you have a photobucket account, it will do. its free and easy to use. photobucket.com to sign up.
upload your image to the server. you are going to need is exact location, so as an example., here is mine. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/sfgirgis/staffoflife/wolfbanner.jpg the good thing about photobucket is that it gives you forum code to just paste in a post. but in this case, we want to paste it in your signature box, rather than in a post.
3. so, now you have the code. it should look like this withouth the question marks. . [img?]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/sfgirgis/staffoflife/wolfbanner.jpg[/img?]the code will display your image in your signature area now. the reason why i put the question marks in, is because, i want to trick the website. if i didn't, it will simply display my banner. so post this without the question marks.
