My ds lite is about a year old (don't know what that has to do with anything, but you never know)
I am using evolution from cyclops - it seemed the easiest when it came to it. A bit more pricey buy i am all for an easy ride.
It didn't need all the patching, loading on of firmware and everything else like the others did. I literally used it straight out of the box.
I put the cart with the memory card into the ds first, then loaded the program onto the card.
I unzipped the file and then put it onto the ds.
I didn't load anything else on at the time apart from moonshell
I pray alot
