Thanks for the welcome, at the moment i have no digital goodness to flash, but i am looking at getting a wacom tablet but unsure as to whether an A5 or A6 would be best, simply as i feel the A6 would be an awfully small area to work on, but as the size scales to the screen it coul;d be okay.

I can always upgrade at a later date.

I found Corel painter X for £100 off on their official site, so thats a bonus.

The style i am looking to try and emulate is that of Erik Holmen as seen on digitalart.org

I love the crisp clean lines and i love mecha\ armour of the future style stuff, hence my quick uptake of IFX magazine. 

There's all sorts of fluff rolling around in the mad hamsters head, me? I just googled it!

As for emulating, look at others stuff and appreciate, but imo be yourself, warts and all.
