Hey I didn't know if it was too soon to be making suggestions but I thought I would give it a shot. I was just watching a documentary about the late great Bruce Lee's final movie Games of Deceit and Death and the pagoda style battle got me thinking. I was wondering if it would be cool to battle using certain styles. Either one guy who is a master of all trades fights every "Champion" in a pagoda style battle only utilizing a certain technique. The "Champion" must have a significant mastery of say for example a watercolor technique and the two do battle only using watercolors. Possibilities might inlcude animation (flash or CG) techniques. I can't think who would be the ultimate badass Kareem Abdul Jabar technique in the end but I thought I would put the idea out there.

Nice idea, could get interesting - not sure what pagoda style is though?

I'm as happy as I'm going to be on the final for my fight with Varrick in Round 23. If I work on it more I'm going to make things worse I know it.

 I kind of feel up to the challenge of trying to move up the pagoda. I guess if I were to lose it would preclude me from moving up and another person jumps in to take my place. Which I might point out Bruce Lee did in that movie.(truthfully he needed the break between levels) Of course the point is moot unless we have specialists. I suppose the badass in the end should be our champion fight clubber. I can't remember who won in that tournament.

I'm working on my space marine costume right now so the Halloween challenge is already out for me. Hell I don't even know if I can get this done before Halloween.

Just wanted to clarify Pagoda style. I use that term because of the movie but its basically one fighter fights one levels champion and that champion is a master of a specific skill set. After the challenger wins he may advance to the next level to face off against a superior master in a whole different style. This goes on until he can reach the grandmaster in the movie it is Kareem Abdul Jabar( man can beat you on the Bball courts and off its not fair). The actual movie fight isn't that great the documentary with its edits is much better.

Its nearing the end of the latest challenge so maybe its time to start discussing what happens next, I think our current champion has acieved his third kill? Its definitely time for Nori to return to the ring in some shape or form.

I think I'll be taking a break from competing after the Halloween challenge. I really need to something about the backlog of ideas that's built up in my sketchbook. Also I don't know which character I want to fight with next anyway (there's two options, one pre-existing character from the same story as Leo and Jennifer, and one I designed just for Fightclub).

I hear ya Philby. That's where I was at after the tourney and kung fu challenge. Looking forward to seeing your new projects develop. ;)
