Brief: The classic beat 'em up is being relaunched. Design a character for the game showing the 'special moves'

Deadline: Midnight (UK) on Wednesday 3rd October (this is Wednesday night, Thursday morning for those that need clarification). There is a 5 minute grace period allowing people to get their posts and links sorted. A moderator will then post a list of valid entries after checking links and voting will begin until the following midnight. Feedback is welcomed during the voting process.

 Your final entry should be posted in this thread: Post all comments, crits, sacrifices, and all WIPs (required for entry) in the WIP thread:

We have made the rules clearer and created a guide for posting and linking wips. Please ensure that you read this, it has lots of useful information. Entries without two separate wips in the wip threads or incorrect linking/posting will be disqualified.

• You must post a final image in the finals thread along with two clickable links, that link back to your wips in the wip thread (guide)

Tried to PM you twice, but it just timed out, saying error. (so not sure if you will get it) Seems to only be the forum section, since switching from Gallery, Home, Work Shops, etc. seem to work just fine?

um thought I let you know that when i tried to go on the WIP thread all I get is this

thanks but I was wondering if you could answer my question about special moves at the bottom of my last post, i kinda need to know before I can complete my entry

Sim, since you are designing a new character I think it's reasonable that he or she has their very own special moves. These challenges usually don't require the participants to be experts in the field of whatever theme is the current one :)

Also, in future, please keep questions to the WIP thread, not the finals. :)

I had thought as much and I had come up with and idea for a special attack, but I had to double check just to make sure I don't get disqualified for failing to meet the requirements. So thanks for letting me know voluspa

This chap is Stone. He was a rather naive fighter attempting to get into the Street Fighter Tourney. His first fight in the Japan Temple ground had him thrown into a shrine of a earth spirit and paralyzed.

 While convulsing on the ground the unbound spirit of the broken shrine offered the fighter the chance to mend his body and continue the fight, which he foolishly accepted. The earth spirit took his body, mind and soul and turned it into a vessel of living stone.

Did a few last minute touch ups.

..and here's my final image, I think i call him old Diamondback, performing his special move: Diamond Dash! good luck everyone!
